Youth unemployment in South Africa is a situation that is now considered chronic

Hundreds of young adults in South Africa between the ages of 18 and 30 are sitting at home bored because they either don't know how to access the job market or they can't afford to look for employment.

A recent national study of participants in an employability programme found that the average transport and other work-seeking costs were around R560 per month. The actual per capita household income for this same group of youth was R527 per month.

Siyaphambili's primary mission is to enable South African youth to access the job market. A secondary positive effect of this mission will be modernizing the South African Taxi system, enabling connection with the customer digitally which is desperately needed.

Siyaphambili - we're moving forward, together!
